Wrinkle-relaxing treatments relax facial muscles resulting in a smoothing of the skin and softening of the lines we create when we express ourselves. Worry lines, frown lines, crow's feet and forehead wrinkles can be dramatically reduced.
DERMAL FILLERS
A full medical history is taken during the consultation and the treatment explained fully. Amanda will advise you which dermal filler is suitable for your face and discuss the exact requirements of your treatment. Dermal filler is an extremely effective treatment for smoothing out nose to mouth lines or lifting corners of the mouth, for example. Results are instant.
Amanda Pierce has perfected her technique for sculpting the face by lifting cheeks, filling sunken eyes (tear troughs- one of her specialities), correcting ageing jawlines all using dermal fillers with amazing results.
LIP FILLERS
A full medical history is taken during the consultation and the treatment explained fully. The consultation will be carried out at our own aesthetic clinic in Rawtenstall. Tiny amounts of the lip filler is injected precisely into the lips. A very fine needle is used. Or, for a more natural look, a cannula is used whihc is a blunt, fine-tipped tube. This approach gives us the option of a very subtle look or something fuller depending on you and what you want. Amanda will discuss this with you first, and advise the most suitable procedure for you. Results are instant and last between 6-9 months- up to 15 months in some cases
FAT-DISSOLVING
A full medical history is taken during the consultation and the treatment explained fully. Amanda will look at the areas you're concerned about and decide whether or not Aqualyx is a suitable treatment for you.
As your body has to flush out the stubborn fat, results are not instant and can take up to 12 weeks to see the full effect.
Any fat that is dissolved, is removed permanently. But if your weight were to fluctuate, you could put the weight back on in the same area which is why it's important you're able to maintain a steady weight in order to see the best results.

POLYNUCLEOTIDES
Polynucleotides are one of the latest treatments, taking the Aesthetic Industry by storm. Dubbed the 'Salmon Sperm Facial' and recently featured on ITV's 'This Morning' this purified salmon or trout DNA will stimulate collagen helping to repair skin cells improving skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles. Think of it like stimulating your skin to make new skin - as opposed to filling your existing skin. This is a fantastic treatment for difficult to treat areas such as the eyes and eyelids, necks, décolletage and backs of hands. Results are very natural because it doesn't volumise or change the shape of your face. 3-5 treatments are needed for great looking results.

EXOSOMES WITH MICRONEEDLING
Exosomes are another exciting popular addition to the aesthetic market and is the latest treatment to arrive. Like polynucleotides this treatment is part of regenerative medicine because it is stimulating your collagen and elastin with growth factors, proteins and fibroblasts. The Exosomes are applied to the skin following a micro needling treatment, which opens up channels in the skin so that the exosomes can get into the skin. They are an excellent treatment for pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, improving skin texture and thickness and brightening the complexion. This is an ideal treatment for full face, neck, décolletage and hands, but can be used anywhere on the body. 3sessions are required 3-4 weeks apart.

SKIN BOOSTERS
Skin boosters are a great treatment for an instant glow to your skin. They have been around for a while now but have gained popularity as the trend for having great looking skin continues to grow. Profhilo is a well known skin booster but I have found Revive delivers even better results - and instantly - as it has some additional ingredients including glycerol which makes the skin very smooth. Again this can be used all over the face, neck décolletage and hands and is very versatile in how much to use and how often. If you just need an instant boost or have a special occasion its a great option, but for all over skin health having a session of Revive every few months works very well.
